ELS is a leader in pipe bursting which is the process of breaking an existing pipe to pull in a replacement during the process. The only pipe restoration process that allows you to up-size the pipe while repairing.
Slip lining has been used since the early 1940’s, one of the first pipe restoration processes. Like the other trenchless rehabilitation processes, slip lining will repair leaks and can restore structural stability to the existing pipeline.
Slip lining is completed by installing a “carrier pipe” into the larger “host pipe”, grouting into the space between the two pipes, and then sealing both ends. The most common materials used are; high density polyethylene (HDPE), fiberglass reinforced pipe (FRP), & PVC.
